  • BSc degree or college degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or Postgraduate Course in Urban Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage.

Aim of the postgraduate course

To train engineers specialised in Public Works Maintenance and Operations who will be able to

  • follow and apply the latest professional, scientific and innovative results in the following areas within public works: construction, maintenance, design, investment, state administration and business enterprise
  • become specialists in the following area: water and energy utilities maintenance and operations

Subject modules with volume of credit points

  • Basic Science Disciplines: 53 credit points

Basics of Urban and Regional Development and Environmental Protection, Technical and Legal Regulations, European Dimension, Geology and Hydrology, Physics-Chemistry-Biology, Informatics, Human Resource Management and Geoinformatics, Quality Control. 

  • Professional Subjects: 57 credit points

Informatics for Engineers Specialised in Public Works Maintenance and Operations; Economic Analysis for Engineers; Environmental Protection Technologies; Soil- and Water Protection; Public Networks; Public Works Maintenance; Waste Management; Water Utilities; Energy Utilities.

  • Subjects compulsory to choose

Energy Management in Public Utility Supply; Transportation Engineering; Property Values of Public Works; Environmental Modelling; Water and Sewage Systems.

  • Thesis: 10 credit points

  • 120 credit points
