 Calculation of Diploma Grade (D):

For graduands who completed the Mechatronics Engineering BSc program according to the curriculum of 2013:

D=(T + WFE + OFE):3, where

T: Grade for defending the thesis

WFE: Grade for the written part of the final exam

OFE: Average grade for the oral part of the final exam

For graduands who completed the Mechatronics Engineering BSc program according to the curriculum of 2014:

D= 0,2 x FE + 0,3 x T + 0,2 x WGE + 0,3 x CE, where

FE: Grade for the final exam

T: Grade for defending the thesis

WGE: Weighted grade average

CE: Average grade of comprehensive exams (CE= 0,3x grade of Mathematics comp.ex.+ 0,7x grade of Mechatronics comp. ex.)

For graduands who completed the Mechatronics Engineering BSc program according to the curriculum of 2015:

D= 0,2 x FE + 0,3 x T + 0,2 x WGE + 0,3 x CE, where

FE: Grade for the final exam

T: Grade for defending the thesis

WGE: Weighted grade average

CE: Average grade of comprehensive exams

(CE= 0,3x grade of Mathematics comp.ex.+ 0,7x grade of Mechatronics comp. ex.)

For graduands who completed the Mechatronics Engineering BSc program according to the curriculum of 2016:

D= 0,2 x FE + 0,3 x T + 0,2 x WGE + 0,3 x CE, where

FE: Grade for the final exam

T: Grade for defending the thesis

WGE: weight grade average

CE: Average grade of comprehensive exams

(CE= 0,3x grade of Mathematics comp.ex.+ 0,7x grade of Mechatronics comp. ex.)

For graduands who completed the Mechatronics Engineering BSc program according to the curriculum of 2017 or after:

D= 0.3×B+0.2×C+0.5×A, where

A: Average of comprehensive exams A=0.3 x mathematics comp. exam+0.7 x
mechatronics comp.exam
B: Average of the grades of the subjects of the state exam
C: Grade for defending thesis

On the basis of the calculated average grade the classification of the award:

Outstanding                             4.81 – 5.00
